The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex two time world title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters met for the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really happening.
